In this chapter, the authors analyse the legislation and regulations applicable to Mozambique's main ports: Maputo, Beira and Nacala. The publication addresses the reforms and port models, the state's development policy and the implementation of green ports, including an analysis of public procurement and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), aspects related to the development, construction and operation. It also analyses corporate, finance, competition and dispute considerations, as well as the latest developments in the sector.
